Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to:

  • Discuss the main role of positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) imaging for breast cancer patients. 
  • Discuss the advantages PET imaging offers over conventional imaging. 
  • Discuss the limitation of fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) imaging in general and in breast cancer.
